Independent research on the progress of the HS2 project is carried out by The Construction Commissioner with the help of those who are affected.

HS2 Residents' Charter

IPSOS MORI Survey

We ask the market research company Ipsos MORI to survey attitudes towards the HS2 project on our behalf. The report findings are based on telephone interviews with adults in the UK.

We are committed to publish this in the near future.

Phase One reports and plans

Plans and sections of HS2 Phase One, 2016

These documents outline the limits of deviation for the route of the HS2 line.

You can also see the land to be acquired relating to the building of the railway.

Compulsory Purchase: General Vesting Declarations

These are deeds sealed by the Government which allow HS2 Ltd as agent to acquire land through Compulsory Acquisition.

You can find information, deeds and plans relating to land and property affected by the HS2 project.

Historic Environment Research and Delivery Strategy

This sets out how the design and construction of Phase One of HS2 project will work with the historic environment.

You can see how we manage and protect people, communities and the natural, cultural and built environment.

You can see how building and operating Phase One of the HS2 project will affect the environment, for example air quality and local wildlife.

They include our proposals for avoiding, reducing or managing these effects.

Many property owners, occupiers and others have an interest in land that HS2 Ltd has or will acquire during the project.

You can see information on parcel numbers, description of property, owners and occupiers within Bill limits for the land in Phase One.

Available for inspection at Albany House, London or deposit locations along the line of route while the Hybrid Bill is live.
